A bad day for your PC. A better start for IT.

When IT hits
the fan.

Frozen screen? Can’t print? Whatever just derailed your day, send up a Flare.

Describe the snag. Flare gathers the screenshots, recent activity, and PC diagnostics that help IT pick up the trail.

THE DISTRESS SIGNALSmall form. Big head start.

“It stopped working.”

Enough to ask for help. Flare adds the clues.

NO TECHNICAL TRANSLATION REQUIRED

You know something’s wrong.
That’s enough to start.

“It froze when I clicked that.” Perfect. Tell Flare what you saw; let the report fill in what was happening underneath.

Raise the signal.

One shortcut brings Flare to the front. No hunting for a help portal while your work is on hold.

Ctrl+Alt+F10

Say it your way.

Pick the issue and describe the moment it went sideways. Flare remembers your name and email for next time.

“Outlook freezes when I open an attachment.”

Choose what comes along.

Review the captured screens, remove images you don’t want to include, or leave screenshots and recent activity out altogether.

You choose what goes with your request.

THE TRAIL BEHIND THE TICKET

Less detective work.
More evidence to work with.

An app hung. A driver changed. A restart is waiting. Flare puts those clues beside the request, with resource usage, network checks, and Windows details ready to inspect.

THE MOMENT IT STALLED

A frozen app, caught in the act.

In this example, Outlook is not responding while other apps still work. The report flags that window and records its resource usage, giving IT a specific app to investigate.

A useful first question: is the trouble inside Outlook, or across the whole PC?

THE EVENTS BEFORE IT

Rewind the trouble.

An Office update, a dock connection, then an Outlook hang. The timeline puts recorded changes in order so support has somewhere concrete to begin.

These are leads to investigate. Their timing does not prove what caused the hang.

Report excerpt orders an Outlook hang, USB-C dock arrival, Office update, and driver installation by time
Recent changes beside the failure.

THE BIGGER PICTURE

Take the PC’s pulse.

CPU at 24%. Memory at 62%. More than two days since the last boot. A quick resource and device overview helps IT put the app’s problem in context.

A snapshot of this moment, ready before the first troubleshooting conversation.

YOUR SIGNAL. YOUR SAY.

Send the clues.
Keep the choice.

Give screenshots a once-over.

See the captured screens and remove individual images. Skip screenshots and recent activity with a single checkbox.

A short rewind.

Flare keeps a short history of selected screen states and app activity. It doesn’t record the contents of your keystrokes.

There when the day goes sideways.

A native Windows agent stays out of the way until you need it, with no extra Flare tray icon or browser window.

A FEW USEFUL ANSWERS

Before you
send a Flare.

Is Flare available today?

Flare is in active development. The Windows request app and diagnostic report are working; production delivery and rollout are still being completed. Contact XceedIT to discuss early access.

What does the report include?

Depending on the request and available Windows checks, it can include device details, resource and process snapshots, network tests, hardware and peripheral information, security state, recent software or driver changes, screenshots, and selected recent actions. Unavailable checks are identified.

Will it work with our existing IT tools?

Flare is being developed around a Windows-first workflow, with NinjaOne launch and deployment scripts and Halo ticket delivery on the roadmap. End-to-end production integrations are still being completed.

Do we need a physical button?

No. The Windows keyboard shortcut and launcher work without one. A programmable USB button is planned as another way to open Flare; hardware validation is still pending.
